Play Opportunities
Pop Up and Play
Join us as we pop-up in different neighbourhoods around Port Alberni, the West Coast, and Bamfield. We will offer many different play opportunities inside and outside for families and their children to participate in.
Come and play, make new friends, and meet community service providers and Kindergarten Teachers that will be present to answer any questions you have about your child’s well-being.

Port Alberni Friendship Center Group Drop-Ins
The family programs provide drop-in groups throughout the week which focus on nutrition, child development, healthy pregnancy, caring for your newborn, immunizations, parenting information, family literacy, peer support, recreation, language and cultural teachings.

PAACL: Geared for Growing: Infant Development Parent and Tot Group
We have an interesting and fun group where you as a parent you can come and relax, play, learn and feel more confident in parenting your child. Your child will benefit from playing with other children, strengthen and learn new skills. You will meet other parents and children and make new connections.
Time: Tuesday mornings from 10am to 12pm
